Missouri Pacific 11400

a Standard Steel Welded (SSW) caboose


Privately owned in Columbia, Illinois by Robert K Euge is MP 11400.
This caboose sits along Mule Road about 2 miles east of the I255 loop SE of Dupo, Illinois.
Having been retired due to a bent frame, it's rolling days are over for sure.

Ed Mertes sent in this series of images in February of 2004.
In February of 2002 it was moved from the hill in the background to it's present location.   It looks to be getting a good cleaning and some paint.   Thanks Ed.
