Missouri Pacific 12433

a Standard Steel Welded (SSW) caboose

I caught up with MP 12433 in Freedonia, Kansas next to the depot there on July 10, 1991 on a trip back to the Denver area.
A good looking MP caboose but it disappeared on us.
One item of note on this caboose is it's end window. These were added by the MoPac during one of it's many rebuildings. Most of this class would later lose this window. This one probably didn't due to an early retirement.

Here it sits in Tyro, Kansas worse for the trip but still with us.
