Missouri Pacific 13495

a xC&EI #8 Riveted Steel, Streamlined Cupola (SSC) caboose.

I only got to photograph in Sedalia, Missouri a couple of times, so when I was there on December 20, 1984, I didn't have a clue what I was looking at.   The lines of cabooses were amazing after treking all over trying to find a MP caboose to shoot.   This line of cabooses were on their way out for donation.   MP 13495 is on it's way to the Great Plains Transportation Museum in Wichita, Kansas and MP 13496 will wind up in Harrison, Arkansas for their Chamber of Commerce.

I finally made it by to see for myself but the museum was closed.   I was able to shoot these photos through the fence.   There are several other pieces of equipment for folks to enjoy as well.
