To the Doniphan Branch Railway

Looking good and working north bound in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 7, 1990 is MP 13908.
Hard to imagine that in 2001 it would be sitting in a salvage yard, without any trucks, for sale, awaiting disposition.

I stopped by on the way back from a Kansas hunt to check on this caboose and here is what I found.   Upon inquiry, I was told that it had been pulled for shipment by mistake and just hadn't been put back yet.   So when the oppurtunity for some detail shots comes by what can you do?
